Hi! I am a Senior AI Research Scientist at NielsenIQ. Also, I am a final-year Ph.D. Candidate (Thesis Submitted) at the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur advised by Prof. Pawan Goyal and Prof. Niloy Ganguly. Additionally, I am a member of the Complex Networks Research Group (CNeRG). My Ph.D. thesis focuses on addressing the modeling and evaluation requirements of text summarization solutions across multiple domains such as e-commerce, finance, disaster mitigation, law, and tourism. I would be happy to talk about recent advancements around LLMs, Small LMs, Factuality, Efficient fine-tuning techniques, Generative Information Extraction, Extreme Classification and Summarization among other NLP topics.

I obtained my Masters from IIIT Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Sambuddho Chakravarty. I did my Undergrad at Jadavpur University, where I worked with Prof. Samiran Chattopadhyay. I recently interned as an Applied Scientist II with the Central Machine Learning Team at Amazon Science, Bangalore. I have previously interned at IBM Research. Additionally, I have four years of professional experience with PwC India specializing in Data Modeling and Business Intelligence.
